A late 19th century opal and red paste necklace. The belcher-link chain with a sliding toggle designed as a stylised heart and set with two pear-shape opals and a circular red paste. Length 132cms. Weight 29.6gms.

This lot is in fair condition, with scratches, dints and tarnish to the metal surface in keeping with age and wear. Chain has discolouration throughout. Wear to facet edges to paste and light scratches to opals in keeping with age and wear.
