Lot Description

A composite set of six mid-Victorian Scottish silver teaspoons in single struck Queen's pattern with engraved monogram. Four hallmarked William Coghill, Glasgow 1869, the other two hallmarked W Allan, Glasgow, probably 1868. Length of each measures 5 6/8 inches (14.5 cm), weight 3.84 ozt (119.56 grams).

Each in overall fair condition commensurate with age. Displaying rubbing, surface wear and tarnishing throughout. Some examples with slight distortion to bowls and stems. Hallmarks all with rubbing but still clear and legible.
