A George IV silver soup ladle in Fiddle pattern with initialled terminal. Hallmarked Richard Poulden, London 1821. Length measures 13 inches (33 cm), weight 7.54 ozt (234.6 grams).

The ladle appears in fairly good overall condition, displaying some general wear, surface scratches and marks commensurate with the age and use. It appears a little over polished and the initials are very worn and rubbed. There is also slight loss of definition around the drop on the heel. The hallmarks are clear and legible but the maker's mark is partly worn.
