Lot Description

A pair of late George III silver Fiddle pattern sauce ladles, having initialled terminals, hallmarked William Eley & William Fearn, London 1819, length measures 7 inches (17.75 cm). Together with a mid-Victorian silver Fiddle pattern serving spoon with same initial to terminal, hallmarked Chawner & Co (George William Adams), London 1952, length measures 12 1/8 inch (31 cm). Gross weight 8.24 ozt (256.2 grams).

Pair of ladles are both heavily tarnished to the whole, general surface marks and scratches throughout and one with significant area of scratching to terminal.
