Lot Description

A late Victorian silver pomander/oil burner, the detachable spherical pomander with star cut decoration raised on a triform base supporting a central burner and raised on three paw terminals and ball feet. Hallmarked Samuel Boyce (or Boaz) Landeck, Sheffield import 1896, alongside French assay marks. Height measuring 5 ¾ inches (14.5 cm), weight 7.3 ozt (228 grams).
