The case appears in fairly good overall condition, displaying general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Heavier wear around edges and corners and tiny hole to the corner of the lid, possible small solder repair. Hinged lid appears in good working order. The engravings to the sides are quite worn, possibly personal initials? The hallmarks and maker's mark appear a little rubbed in places but are still legible.
