Lot Description
Two early 20th century diamond and gem-set brooches. To include an alternating square-shape emerald and old-cut diamond line brooch, together with a Martin Mayer green paste circle brooch. One with marker's marks for Martin Mayer. Estimated total diamond weight 0.10ct. Lengths 2.6 and 3.7cms. Weight 5.2gms.

<li>Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Emeralds have light surface scratches and nibbles to the facet edges.
<li> Paste have moderate surface scratches and chips.
<li>Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
<li>The diamonds are bright.
<li>Stamped 935 to circle brooch, weight 3gms.
