Lot Description

A late 19th century gold pearl locket. Of oval outline, with applied cross and fleur-de-lys to the front outlined in blue enamel and set with cultured pearls. Marks indicating gold. Length 5.8cms. Weight 35.8gms.

This lot is in fair condition, with surface scratches, dints and tarnish to the metal surface in keeping with age and wear. There is a file mark and abrasion to the side and reverse of the locket, consistent with metal testing.
