Lot Description

An early 20th century silver and gold diamond pendant. The pear-shape vacant panel, within a replacement near period rose-cut diamond surround and later surmount. Length 2.5cms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.

<li>Areas of discolouration to the surround.

<li>Put together from early 20th century components.

<li>Personal engraving to reverse of central panel reads 'In memoriam Sept 14th 1900'

<li>Significant chips and areas of abrasion to several diamonds, some settings are heavily worn.

<li>Diamond fairly well matched.

<li>Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.<p>
