Lot Description

A 1930's five piece condiment set comprising a pair of open salts with blue glass liners and three pepper pots, all with gadroon borders and standing on three lion face and paw feet. Hallmarked Fowler & Polglaze Ltd., London 1937. Gross weight 16.87 ozt (524.7 grams).

All pieces appear in fairly good overall condition, displaying general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. A few minor dints. Large rim chips to one of the glass liners. The hallmarks are clear and legible, some slight distortion to maker's marks. Pepper pot lids are all quite a tight fit but all bear matching part hallmarks.
