A 1940's silver cream jug, having diaper engraved and applied shell border below a reeded girdle and tall shaped spout leading to the foliate capped handle. Hallmarked Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co,. Ltd., London 1947. Height measures 5 3/8 inches (13.5 cm), weight 10.7 ozt (334.8 grams).

Appears in good condition displaying light rubbing and wear throughout causing slight loss of definition to raised decoration. General light scratching and small areas of tarnishing. Hallmarks clear and legible.
