Lot Description

A large selection of silver and silver plated souvenir teaspoons, comprising mostly early twentieth century English hallmarked examples, many having enamelled terminals, plus a small selection of various Continental examples to include an Egyptianesque silver-gilt teaspoon having enamelled bowl and hinged terminal concealing miniature mummy, together with a small selection of various other plated examples, to include a cased set of six silver plated coffee spoons, each having coffee bean terminal and scalloped bowl. Gross silver weight 14.86 ozt (432.3 grams) (Lot).

All items appear in overall good condition, each displaying various minor signs of rubbing and surface wear. Enamel mostly in good condition with a few minor losses and knocks to some examples. Hallmarks and other marks mostly clear and legible.


The cased set of silver plated coffee spoons display general tarnishing and light surface marks and rubbing. Marks to each partly worn but still legible. Case is in fair condition with few light scuffs.
