Lot Description

A pair of George III silver Old English pattern table spoons having crested terminals, hallmarked Richard Crossley, London 1793 and Richard Crossley & George Smith IV, London 1807, plus another George III Fiddle pattern table spoon having initialled terminal, William Chawner II, London 1816. Together with a cased set of George V silver handled pickle forks and knives for six settings, three cased sets of six silver teaspoons, a cased silver spoon and fork set and a cased silver pusher and spoon set having initialled terminals, a cased 1950's single spoon plus two golfing enamelled teaspoons. Gross weight excluding silver handled forks and knives 18.42 ozt (573.1 grams).

Georgian spoons each with heavy wear, tarnishing and surface scratching throughout, each with heavy rubbing to terminals causing slight loss of definition to engraved terminals. Pickle forks and knives each with tarnishing to silver handles. All cased items displaying tarnishing and light wear. Pusher with slight distortion and surface scratching. Enamel to golfing spoons in fair condition. Hallmarks throughout with light rubbing although still legible.
