Lot Description

An Edwardian silver ring box, the circular hinged form with engraved border and opening to a velvet lined interior, hallmarked Robert Pringle & Sons, Birmingham 1904, height measuring 2.7 cm. Together with a further example of oblong form, stamped 925 sterling. (2).

The lot displays general scratches, marks wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Numerous dints to the Edwardian example, the lid does not sit flush and the material inner displays wear. The second example, probably American displays a little compression to the underside and the lining also somewhat worn.
