Lot 387

Lot Description

A 1920's silver patent 'Ejector' dip pen, the tapering form with personal name engraving, hallmarked Sampson Mordan & Co., London 1925. Together with a further silver mounted dip pen, hallmarked Arthur Downing Ltd., Birmingham 1910. Respective lengths measuring 7 5/8 inches (19.5 cm) and 6 3/4 inches (17.2 cm).

Postage: Auction Default

Weight: No

Total lot weight: No

Both pens display general wear, surface scratches, marks and tarnishing, commensurate with their age and general use. There are some heavier marks and small dints and nicks around the pointed terminal of the 1910 pen. This example is also impressed with a retailer's name and address. Some rubbing to hallmarks but mostly clear and legible.
