Lot Description

A pair of early twentieth century silver and enamel menu or name card holders, each formed as the badge of the Royal Exchange Assurance Co and featuring the Royal Exchange building on a green enamel background with a crown surmount, and standing on a rectangular loaded base. Hallmarked H C Freeman Ltd., Birmingham 1919. Height measuring 4.2 cm.

Both holders display some general wear and tarnishing and would benefit from a clean and polish. Also various surface marks, nicks and scratches. Enamel appears in fairly good overall condition. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
