A late Victorian 9ct gold portrait brooch. Of oval outline, the glass panel painted to the reverse with portrait of a gentleman in classic dress, to the scrolling surround. Length 5.1cms. Weight 8.9gms.

Condition Report
The condition of this lot is fair, with scratches to the reverse of the painted panel. There are small chips to the paint, resulting in transparent gaps in the glass, some areas have been repaired with roughly matching paint. Discolouration to the metal in places. There is no back panel to this, leaving the reverse of the painted panel exposed.
