Lot Description

An early twentieth century Latvian silver purse, the hinged oblong form embellished with fruiting vines and opening to a material lined and compartmentalised interior. Latvian assay marks with the standard 875, alongside maker's mark BB. Length measuring 8 inches (20.5 cm), gross weight 17 ozt (535 grams).
