Lot Description

A small mixed group of silver items, to include a prayer book holder of oblong form, having pierced decoration depicting angels on a foliate backdrop, hallmarks rubbed, possibly William Comyns, London 1891, 3.75" (9.5cm), a spectacles case, of oblong form with hammered body, hallmarked Birmingham 1916, the suspension ring marked 1909, a crocodile skin wallet, with hallmarked silver mounts to corners, together with a hallmarked silver thermometer (a/f), and a tea strainer marked sterling. (5).

Prayer book case - with some scratching and wear, hallmarks rubbed.

Spectacles case - Suspension ring hallmarks differ to those on the case by 7 years. No Assay mark to suspension ring. Silver tarnished and worn, hallmarks rubbed.

Wallet - Crocodile skin and interior worn, silver mounts tarnished and with wear, hallmarks rubbed.

Thermometer - Worn and at fault.

Tea strainer - surface scratches and light wear.
