An early 20th century 18ct gold opal and enamel memorial ring. The opal cabochon of oval outline, claw-set to the enamelled acanthus leaf shoulders and personal inscription within. Hallmark for Birmingham, 1904. Ring size O. Weight 7gms.

Condition Report
The condition of this lot is fair with scratches and chips to the opal and enamel, dints and scratches to the gold. The opal is slightly loose in its setting and is worn to the surface. The opal has good play of the full spectrum of colour. Personal inscription to the inner band reads '1905 JGH'.
