Lot Description

A 1920's silver mounted stamp moistener, of rectangular form having central aperture supporting a removable roller and with engraved initials and date to the front edge. Hallmarked C & S Co. Ltd., London 1927. Width measures 3 6/8 (9.5 cm), weight exclusive of roller 2.31 ozt (71.99 grams).

Condition Report

The stamp moistener is in good to fair condition having areas of light tarnishing and surface scratching to the silver base. The hallmarks are clear and legible with matching part hallmarks to the roller.
