Lot Description

A 1930's silver mounted presentation desk ornament, having a figure modelled as a seated and uniformed soldier beside a rectangular plaque engraved 'Inspector Generals Vickers Gun Competition', all upon a rectangular green marble base. Hallmarked Hunt & Roskell Ltd., London 1930. Height measures 2 6/8 inches (7 cm).

Condition Report

The ornament is in fair condition although the silver figure is fairly loose to the base and both the figure and plaque are rubbed worn and with minor tarnishing. The base with few minor knocks and scratches. Hallmarks to figure and plaque are worn but still legible.
