Lot Description

A Edwardian silver mounted carriage clock, the oblong body upon four ball feet with hammered front and scroll handle, surrounding a circular aperture with white enamel dial, black Roman numerals and manual wind movement. Hallmarked William Devenport, Birmingham 1906. Height exclusive of handle measures 3 1/8 inches (8 cm).

In fair condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Loss of definition to the hammered decoration. Movement currently not ticking, Fellows are unable to confirm working order and accuracy. The hinged case shuts but not fully flush. Hallmarks clear and legible.
