A turquoise brooch. The late 19th century engraved scroll, with turquoise cabochon line, detachable swag and graduated drops and later foliate highlights. Length 7cms. Weight 11.2gms. With fitted case.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>File scratches to the reverse, slight discolouration.
<li>Recently re-gilt.
<li>Glazed panel to the reverse, later hair, possibly elephant hair.
<li>Later gems, slight wear to the mounts.
<li>Turquoise are a well matched slightly greenish blue hue.
<li>Minor abrasion.
<li>Textured foliate panels are later additions/replacements.
