Two mid Victorian gem-set memorial brooches. The first designed as a rectangular panel of coral with cross-hatched pattern carved to the surface, surrounded by circular coral pieces carved with abstract floral design to the glazed woven hair panel to the reverse, the second with an oval-shape citrine set to a black enamel mount with gold-tone acanthus-leaf detail and scrolling surround. Lengths 3.6 to 4cms. Weight 27.2gms.

Condition Report
The condition of this lot is fair, with surface scratches in keeping with general wear. Light scratches to the citrine and enamel surround. Dints to the reverse of the same. The coral brooch has visible general wear. There is some discolouration to the metal and the glass is lightly scratched.
