Lot Description

An open face pocket watch. Silver case, hallmarked London 1880. Numbered 47650. Unsigned key wind full plate fusee and chain movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement. White dial. 49mm. Together with another silver pocket watch. All recommended for spares or repair purposes only.

<li>Movement is not currently functioning.

<li>Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.

<li>Dial has a series of hairline cracks. Dial has heavy discolouring, marks and damage. Cracking pass through the centre towards one.

<li>Hands show noticeable marks and tarnishing. Minute hand is detached.

<li>Glass has scratches and marks.  

<li>Case shows scratches, marks and dints.

<li>Hinges have some play.

<li>Additional watch is not currently functioning. Hinges have failed and case back is detached.
