A gundog with game, the seated spaniel with a duck at its feet,
oil on canvas, signed lower left,
11.5" x 17.5", (29cm x 44.5cm),
in gilt slip and swept gilt frame.

Canvas is very dark/stained - colours very drab - and has all-over crazing. Bitumastic varnish/lacquer has bubbled, especially to lower right and upper left quarters.
