Lot Description

An Edwardian silver mounted jewellery box, the oblong form with scroll edge, central monogram and opening to a lined compartmentalised interior to include space for rings. Hallmarked A & J Zimmerman Ltd (Arthur & John Zimmerman), Birmingham 1908. Length measuring 3 1/2 inches (9 cm).

Condition Report

The jewellery box displays general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The lid and body do not sit 100% flush. Gilding to the inside of the cover has worn. Lining worn. Hallmarks noticeably worn to the body.
