A Victorian novelty silver vesta box, the oblong from with monogram engraving and hinged cover with Domino enamel decoration. Hallmarked Thomas Johnson II, London 1885. Length measuring 5 cm, weight 36 grams.

In good overall condition. Displaying general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Minor knocks to the corners. Some seams visible. Hallmarks clear and legible. The interior previously gilded, this now worn.
