A plique-a-jour, gem and marcasite swallow brooch. In the shape of a swallow in flight, the wings and tail in red, purple and green plique-a-jour enamel, with four oval-shape opal cabochons set to the wings and tail. Length 5.6cms. Weight 11.5gms.
