Lot Description

A late Victorian silver tea caddy, the circular repousse form depicting neo-classical figures dancing and playing instruments amidst a Grecian landscape including the Acropolis, with gadroon rim borders to the body and detachable lid. Hallmarked Thomas Hayes, Birmingham 1894. Height inclusive of lid measures 3 5/8 inches (9.3 cm), weight 3.36 ozt (104.6 grams).
