Lot Description

An early Victorian silver drum shaped mustard pot with blue glass liner, the plain cylindrical body with engraved lion crest, beaded rims, and a flat hinged lid with pierced thumb rest and foliate capped double scroll handle. Hallmarked Robinson, Edkins & Aston, Birmingham 1842. Height excluding thumb rest measures 2 1/4 inches (5.7 cm), silver weight 3.99 ozt (124.2 grams).
