Lot Description

A late Victorian silver caster, the ovoid body decorated with ribbon tied swags and pendant motifs surrounding two vacant oval panels, having stiff leaf borders below and a footed base, the removable pierced cover with cone finial. Total lot weight: No

The caster appears in fairly good overall condition. There is some staining/tarnishing throughout and it would therefore benefit from a clean and polish. General surface marks and scratches and some slight surface wear to the raised decoration with some slight loss of detail. The cover is a good fit. The hallmarks are clear and legible, some rubbing to maker's mark but still legible. Clear part hallmarks to cover.
