Lot Description

An Edwardian silver twin-handled tray, the shaped oval form with Chippendale style rim and engraved initials to the plain centre. Hallmarked Henry Stratford Ltd., Sheffield 1907. Length including handles measuring 21 1/2 inches (54.5 cm), weight 47.71 ozt (1484 grams).

The tray appears in fairly good overall condition, displaying expected general surface wear and tarnishing. Numerous surface marks, scratches and nicks are visible and there are some darker areas from contact with bottles or other items. Hallmarks are clear and legible, also impressed pattern number 3888.
