Lot Description

A cased 1930's silver condiment set comprising a pepper pot and a mustard pot and open salt with spoons and blue glass liners, each decorated with a Celtic style border, hallmarked Adie Brothers Ltd., Birmingham 1933. Together with further early twentieth century silver condiments, a plain silver mounted bud vase with trumpet shape rim, hallmarked Birmingham 1962, and a cased set of six silver handled fruit knives. Gross weighable silver 9.85 ozt (306.5 grams).

All pieces displaying some general wear and tarnishing, which is heavier to some. All would benefit from a clean and polish. Also surface marks and scratches. Some dints and knocks, including to the finial of the 1930's pepper and around lower body. Also some surface dints to stem of vase. Numerous surface nicks and heavier marks to knife handles. Some rubbing and distortion but hallmarks are mostly legible. A few edge nibbles and small chips to glass.
