Lot Description

An Edwardian silver mounted travelling pocket watch case, of oblong form with hammered finish surrounding a vacant cartouche and easel back support (S/D), the push button mechanism opening to reveal a green lined material interior, hallmarked Birmingham 1906, maker's mark probably Robinson & Co., width measures 4 1/2 inches (11.5 cm), together with a large manual wind base metal pocket watch with white enamel dial signed Wynne & Co., black Roman numerals and subsidiary second dial.

The lot displays general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The wooden back has cracked to each side underneath the easel component, the easel back also broken off at the hinge, various other scuffs and marks to the covering. Clasp in working order. Hallmarks clear and legible. Rubbing and deterioration to the velvet interior. Goliath pocket watch in good overall condition with a few scratches to the glass. The movement is currently functioning however we cannot guarantee the working order or accuracy of the movement.
