Lot 67

Lot Description

A pair of Edwardian silver tapersticks, each with shaped circular base having scroll detail and rising to a knopped stem and removable nozzle decorated with shell motifs to each corner. Hallmarked Jenkins & Timm, Sheffield 1902. Height including nozzle measuring 4 inches (10.2 cm).

Postage: Postable

Weight: No

Total lot weight: No

Both tapersticks are quite tarnished and would benefit from a clean and polish. Otherwise they appear in fairly good overall condition displaying some general surface wear, marks and scratches in keeping with the age and use. Nozzles appear to be a good fit. Although not heavy, they are filled as there is faux leather lining to underisdes. Hallmarks are clear and legible. Also part hallmarks to nozzles including slightly distorted maker's marks.
