Lot Description

A late Victorian 18ct gold ruby and diamond cluster ring. The oval-shape ruby, with old-cut diamond surround and sides. Estimated total diamond weight 0.60ct. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1889. Ring size M. Weight 4.9gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.

<li> Approximate dimensions of ruby 7.3 by 6.1 by 3.7mms.<p>

<li>Ruby medium pinkish red, fairly well saturated, with fair to poor clarity and typical inclusions.<p>

<li> Ruby with large dark inclusion and internal fracture under the table facet.<p>


<li>Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.<p>
