Lot Description

A late Victorian turquoise memorial brooch. The bow-shape brooch engraved with acanthus leaves and set with circular turquoise cabochons, suspending a similarly set heart-shape drop, with glazed vacant panel to the reverse. Length 3.5cms. Weight 9.1gms.

Condition Report

The condition of this lot is fair, with visible traces of cleaning residue and general surface wear evident. The metal is tarnished and slightly discoloured in keeping with age. One of the turquoise cabochons is deficient from the top left area. The glass has surface scratches.
