Two Scottish brooches. The first a dirk brooch inlaid with vari-colour tapered agate and a yellow paste to the thistle shape head, the second of oval-outline the central citrine claw-set with a surround of vari-colour agate of kidney and shields shapes. Lengths 5.5 to 7.3cms. Weight 28.7gms.
