Overall fair condition. This piece is silver gilt, there are moderate surface scratches throughout. The pin is a replacement and has rust visible in various places, the top of the pin is protruding from the hinge and is curled to hold it in place. There is some small areas of rubbing throughout the piece where the gold plating is rubbed and areas of the silver is showing beneath. A few of the collet settings would benefit from attention as areas of them are wearing thin. The enamel to the crown, horse and Saint George and lower areas of the pendant is all heavily chipped, the horse has the most enamel remaining but is still heavily chipped, the other areas have little enamel left. The garnet cabochons are fairly well matched to each other and then the faceted garnets are well matched to each other, the faceted garnets are lighter in colour to the cabochon garnets. The George and the dragon panel is a little loose at the top but securely fastened at the base so will not come off.
