Lot Description

An Austro Hungarian garnet and pearl necklace and matching earrings. The necklace designed as a series of quatrefoil-shape links with scallop detail and garnet cabochons to each, with split pearls between, to the spring ring clasp, the earrings of similar design with 9ct gold screw fasteners (top section later added). Hallmark to top sections of earrings for Birmingham, 1953. Lengths 3.5 to 45cms. Weight 56.1gms.
