Two late Victorian memorial brooches.

Lot Description
Two late Victorian memorial brooches. The first a rectangular brooch with black enamel border and gold-tone text reading 'In memory of' to the central glazed woven hair panel, the second an oval shape brooch with glazed decorative hair panel to a scrolling mount and glazed photograph panel to the reverse. Lengths 3.5 to 4.5cms. Weight 28.2gms.

Condition Report
The condition of this lot is fair. The first has discolouration to the metal and light scratching to the enamel and glass. The second with rotating central panel has light chips and scratches to the glass and discolouration to the metal. There is significant soft solder repair to one side of the pin mount.
