A silk Chinese theatre costume. The highly decorated costume features a red upper body with gold-coloured geometric design, sleeves are layered with different colours all embroidered with a floral motif, below the waist is multi-panelled with continuation of the embroidery, together with an additional short cape of similar design and green tassels. Label translates to Shanghai Theatre Costume Factory.
