Lot Description

A silver pair case pocket watch by Stockell & Stuart. Silver cases, hallmarked London 1794. Signed key wind full plate fusee and chain movement with verge escapement and pierced balance cock. White dial. Outer case 50mm.

<li>Movement is currently functioning.

<li>Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.

<li>Dial has a series of hairline cracks.  Dial shows heavy wear including cracks and chips.

<li>Hands show noticeable marks and tarnishing.  Minute hand is a possible replacement.

<li>Glass has noticeable scratches and marks.  

<li>Case shows noticeable scratches, marks and dints.  Outer case shows heavy tarnishing, discolouration and some dents. Outer case does not close properly, this will require attention.
