The handbag is in good to very good overall condition showing signs of moderate use. The exterior canvas holds strong colour with some small abrasion to the edges of the seams on the lower front and back, and some areas of darkening to the base stitches. The leather trim has darkened from use with some darker black marks in places, mostly caused by the metalwork. The leather trim on the opening edge is slightly curled in places. The handle is in very good condition with dark marks to the end of each handle and natural darkening to the leather from use. The metalwork retains plating and high polish with a light scattering of hairline scratches. All fastenings are fully working. The interior lining is in very good condition with faint darkening to the open edge and some pen marks to the back, the longest is approximately 5cm in length, otherwise is clean and odourless.
