A mahogany twin pedestal desk. Circa 1900, the moulded rectangular top with later green skiver over one long and two short drawers with wooden knob handles, raised on two pedestals each of three graduated drawers with plinth base and concealed castors, 53.5" x 27.5" x 29.5" high, (136cm x 70cm x 75cm), together with a pair of reproduction 'library steps' of A-frame design with two green skiver-inset treads, (2).

Later skiver. General wear to drawer edges, one brass keyhole missing, patch over central drawer where lock has been forced. Vertical age cracks to both pedestals.
