Lot Description
A late Victorian silver and gold, diamond and gem-set pendant. The amethyst briolette with rose-cut diamond cap, suspended from an old-cut diamond and pearl line, to the rose-cut diamond line surmount and later trace-link chain. Estimated total old-cut diamond weight 0.15ct. Length of pendant 6cms. Length of chain 47cms. Total weight 9.9gms. With fitted case.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Diamonds fairly bright and well matched.
<li>Estimated total diamond weight under 0.10ct.<p>
<li>Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.<p>
<li>Amethyst is a medium purple hue. Some colour zoning, few eye-visible inclusions. Minor abrasion and nicks and frits to the briolette tip.
<li>Pearl untested for natural origin.
<li>Pearl is a pearly white hue, good lustre.
<li>The pearl is fully drilled.
<li>Diameter of pearl 5mms.
<li>Some discolouration to the end of the chain. Chain with spring ring clasp.
