A shell cameo brooch. Of oval outline, the shell carved to depict a profile portrait of a lady with curled hair, a hair piece and veil, to the textured mount. AF. With foreign assay marks. Length 4.4cms. Weight 9.5gms.

The condition of this lot is poor. The shell has a significant crack to one side and as a result, there is some loss of the shell. To the other side is a significant crack making the remaining shell loose in its setting. The mount is discoloured and tarnished and has visible dents.
