Lot Description

Two cameo brooches. The first designed as a rectangular carnelian panel depicting a man within a split pearl surround, the second of oval outline, depicting a lady in profile to the shaped surround. Lengths 2.6 and 5.4cms.

The condition of this lot is fair to poor, with general dints,, scratches and marks in keeping with age and wear. The metal to both is discoloured and marked. Both carvings are worn and have lost some detail as a result. The rectangular brooch has repair to some areas of the profile.
